In God I trust

Feelings of extreme happiness and extreme depression is something i seem to be getting used to.. its all part and parcel of immersing yourself in this industry..

Some people dont believe in luck, i on the other hand, believe that luck combined with skill is what gets you through in this industry... So often your career life is in the hands of other people... casters, agents, clients, managers... And of course, your shelf-life is somewhat dependent on who you know and how well you use your connections.

Watching a friend of mine land job after job after job... of course makes me extremely happy for him.. not so happy for me haha... I know i will be continuously faced with rejection.. learning not to take it to heart is sometimes a lesson you need to teach yourself... because more often than not.. youre just not what they had in mind...

I was on a super high the first few months landing job after job.. and now i seem to have hit a low... im still getting jobs, but not the right ones.

Regardless, im thankful. Fall down seven times, stand up eight..

i guess i can be happy and grateful for all the hardships, tears, happiness, sacrifices, and blessings because atleast this way i have a story =) And atleast at the end of it all, i will have something to say for myself.. more than.. oh my parents were born into showbiz so all i had to do was say their name...

Its true, it gets you down when you put so much time and effort into making it work.. but everyone has a time.. and my time will come.

In the meantime... im thankful and i put my trust and my faith in god.

Perks

Plantation Bay, Cebu

I havnt been able to blog in a while.. partly because ive been busy and partly because i havnt had constant access to the net.

The one thing i love about this industry is that if you get the right jobs it can really take you places. So far, ive been able to travel various parts of the Philippines all expenses paid, while getting paid to do something i love. In february i got to fly to cebu for mtv which is another place tourists and locals could only wish to visit- plantation bay <3

And in 2weeks im flying to boracay <3 which happens to be a tourist must see destination when you come to the philippines. Its famous for its white sand and crystal clear water.. It is something almost akin to bora bora! Flying there in summer is super expensive too.. So i feel extremely lucky to be going there all expenses paid.. what more could one ask for? Paid to party in paradise?

Ive always always wanted to go and so im thankful and appreciative that this industry is allowing me to visit places i could only dream of visiting.. The only thing now is.. i dont want to get dark! haha Im currently on whitening medication so... i need to stock up on spf 80 so that the medicine doesnt go to waste!

Hopefully.. the next out of town trip will be to another country =p See what happens?
